Moto Graphics for Dirt Bikes
The moto graphics that are put on dirt bikes must be tough to handle the impact of boots and gear rubbing against them as well as mud and stones being thrown around. That is why it is important to use high quality stickers that are a decent thickness and have a UV protective coating. A good motocross graphics kit will typically have a thickness of 16-mil or higher.
Motocross graphics kits are a great way to add some style and color to your bike without having to do a full paint job or major modifications. They can also offer some protection from scratches and scuffs on some of the plastic pieces like the fuel tank or front fork tubes.

One of the most common reasons for graphics not sticking is because the plastics aren’t clean. It’s important to clean any parts that you are going to wrap with either contact cleaner or rubbing alcohol. This will remove any factory oil that the plastics were dipped in during production. If you are using new plastic, it is even more important to use this step as the plastic has a lot of manufacturing oils on it from being dipped in the plastic molds.
It is also important to take your time with the install. Make sure you line up the sticker before removing the backing paper and that it is properly aligned on the plastic piece. Applying the stickers at a slow pace will allow for better adhesion as well as help you avoid air bubbles during installation. The final heat cycle over the entire graphic kit will also activate the adhesive and really lock it in for a long life.
