With their roots in the old Solex side draft carburetors, Mikuni PHH automotive racing carburetors became the carburation of choice for many top-level off road and road racing teams. They were also commonly fitted to Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha off-road and road-racing bikes. Unfortunately, due to the industry move to fuel injection and the deterioration of their original tooling, Mikuni of Japan stopped production of these complete carburetors in the 1990s. Fortunately, TD Hatrick & Co, the official distributor for Mikuni in Australia, continues to manufacture and market these carburetors as well as all other genuine Mikuni parts, jets and accessories.
